Day 1 of the Handjem, Fox Hollow, and Red Rover Retrievers #NRC2016 pre-national training group has been a wet one. Our theme for the day: Rain Rain Rain!
A lightning delay pushed our start to the afternoon at Judy Aycock's gorgeous property in Valley View. After a nice breakfast at the Gainesville Cracker Barrel, we finally snuck in a double w hen pheasants. Go bird flyer thrown flat w short retired bird. Original set up had a nice cross wind land blind but the forecast is ominous so it was pulled. We eventually did the blind after all the dogs did the marks just to ensure maximum opportunity for the most dogs.
